Founded in 1990, CEERT – Centro de Estudos das Relações de Trabalho e Desigualdades (Research Center on Labor Relations and Inequality) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to racial and gender equality. The center draws on its team of psychologists, legal experts, educators, sociologists, social workers, and personnel managers to conceive and conduct programs for unions, schools, companies and government agencies. Principal CEERT projects are designed to improve access to the legal system, to guarantee the right to racial equality, to ensure freedom of religion or beliefs, and to promote public policies in education, health and labor relations. Advisory services are provided to government agencies, private institutions and social movements in political education, leadership training, and the production of educational materials.
